Who doesn’t love some good pizza on a Friday evening? Loved by everyone from our youngest kids to our oldest grandparents, pizza is something you know you can’t go wrong with when you’re looking to take friends and family out for dinner. And you certainly won’t have to go looking very far because we’ve got some fantastic pizza here in Pennsylvania! Here are our recommendations for where you can get the best pizza in Oxford, PA.

1. La Sicilia Pizza Pasta Grille

An Italian-owned pizzeria serving downtown Oxford at 58 South 3rd Street for over 20 years, La Sicilia brings a taste of Southern Italy to Pennsylvania. And they proudly bring fresh ingredients and Sicilian recipes that have been in the family for generations!

You really can’t go wrong here; even the basic margarita is made with fresh, creamy mozzarella and juicy, crushed tomatoes. For a real taste of Sicily, try one of their white pizzas like the La Sicilia or prosciutto fichi, both made with fresh Italian olive oil and a delicious, flavourful garlic sauce.

2. Andre’s Pizza

Andre’s Pizza brings the much-loved New York-style counter service, by-the-slice style of pizza to Oxford with their small pizza joint over on 2209 Baltimore Pike. Featuring a huge menu of thin crust and square Sicilian-style pies, Andre’s is a place where you can really take your pick and go crazy with the toppings.

If you’re coming with the family, they’ll also serve custom large pizzas with your choice of toppings. A locally-loved classic of theirs is the dragon fire pizza, which combines authentic fresh mozzarella with homemade hot sauce.

3. Margherita’s Italian Restaurant

Margherita’s is a casual pizzeria and Italian restaurant at 325 Limestone Road and another favorite spot for Oxford friends and families to enjoy a pizza dinner. The place is owned and operated by an Italian-American couple, and you’ll be certain that they will leave you full if you come with an empty stomach!

One of our favorite pizzas on their menu is the Italian tricolore, made with garlic, ricotta, broccoli, and fresh tomatoes. If you’d like to add a non-pizza dish to your order, they also pride themselves in serving the only homemade pasta in town, and trust us; it’s delicious!

If you’re proposing any of these three Oxford pizza joints to your friends or family for a fun Friday dinner, then congratulations, you’ll probably have quite a few people wanting to join you! So before you grab your friends and family and head down for some slices, head over to Jeff D’Ambrosio of Mitsubishi Oxford to pick up a nice new car that’s big enough to pick up everyone who’ll be joining you, like the Mitsubishi Outlander.
